Congratulations you are now a competent archer you have built a broad base of information through practise and advice but you still want to improve, call the shop for a friendly chat about your next move on technique, equipment, training methods or anything that crosses your mind.
What’s the difference between an archer at level two and one at national level, not a whole lot. What they do have is confidence, they have the muscle memory and they have a definite plan and a single mind ness to achieve their targets
Step1: Personal Assessment
You will be asked to outline your hopes for progression, what time you can give to achieve your goals, what are the areas where you feel there is a need for improvement. On formulating this brief assessment of your current level the coach can with the help of his colleagues devise a training programme to suit your renewed targets. This is a very subjective area and progress can only be attained through constant dialogue with your coach. The cost for this can be agreed upon between the archer and the coach, usually at this stage a good relationship has been developed between the two.
